In the house of Holy Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam which presented the best image of both the worlds the heaven of the earth a child who benefited humanity as if he was divine impression reflecting the earth, was born on the 3rd night of the month of Shaban. His father was Imam Ali, the best model of kindness towards his friends of the bravest against the enemies of Islam, and his mother was Hazrat Fatima, the only daughter and child of the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam who had as universally acknowledged, inherited the qualities of her father. When the good news of his birth reached the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam, he came to his daughter’s house, took the newly born child in his hands and love him. Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam took iqamah in his right and left ears respectively. On the 7th day of his birth, after performing the rites of aqiqah, named him al-Hussain, in compliance with Allah’s command.

Imam Hussain and Imam Hassan the two sons of the Holy Imam Ali Ibn Talib and Hazrat Fatima our lady of light were respected and revered as the: “Leaders of the youths of Paradise” as stated by the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam. Imam Hussain spent his childhood in the laps of Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam has gifted him all his qualities in such a way that he seem to be the copy of the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam in every aspect of Life. He have also faced the pain, which the people have given after the death of the holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam. He saw the people bring fire on his house, the death of his father and the most of all the death of his beloved brother Imam Hassan, he became Imam and he was imam for the period of the years.

But the lost Sox months coinciding with the caliphate of Muawiyah. Imam Hussain lived under the most difficult outward conditions of suppression and persecution. This was due to the fact that first of all religious laws and regulations had lost much of their weight and credit. Muawiyah had asked the well known among the people to give their allegiance to yazid but wet imposed this order upon the imam Hussain. He especially told yazid in his Last will that if Imam Hussain refused to pay allegiance, he should pass over it in silence and overlook the matter.

Yazid neglected his father’s advice and immediately after the death of his father ordered the governor of Medina either to force a pledge of allegiance from imam Hussain or send his head to Damascus. After Governor of his demand Imam Hussain in order to think over the question asked for a delay and overnight started for Mecca, he sorted refuge in the sanctuary of god along with his family. For nearly four month Imam stayed there. The huge amount of letter, began to flow especially from Iraq, inviting imam to come to Iraq and accept their leadership.

The stay of Imam continued till the season for Hajj when Muslims all around world come to Mecca. Imam discovered that some of the followers of yazid entered Mecca as Pilgrims with the mission to kill imam during the rites of Hajj.

Imam shorten to stay and changed his Hajj to Umera. Imam stood up in a short speech he announced that he was setting for Iraq. He asked Muslims to helped his to attaining his goal. On the next day he set out for Iraq along his family. Some of the outstanding people of Mecca stood in the way of Imam Hussain warned him of the danger. He answered that he refused to pay the allegiance and give his approval to a government of injustice. He added that he knew that wherever he turned or went he would be killed. He would leave Mecca in order to preserve the respect of the House of God.

Approximately, seventy KM, from Qufah in a desert named Karbala the Imam and his followers were surrounded by the army of yazid. For eighty days they stayed in this spot during which the circle narrowed and the number of enemies increased to thirty thousand solders.

On the 9th day of Muharram the Imam lined up before enemy with his small band of followers, less than ninety people. That day they fought from morning until their final breath. Among those killed were two children of Imam Hussain one only 3 year Hazrat Qasim and other was eleven year who get martyred while saving his uncle from the sword of shimir, and also the son of flag bearer of Imam’s Army Abbas and most smallest martyred of karbala the infant of Imam Hussain. Hazrat Ali Asgar who was only six month was killed by this army of yazid by arrow while imam Hussain was asking water in.And when there is no one left imam Hussain attained the martyr. After ending the war, the army plundered the Haram of imam and burned their camps. And taken them as prisoners.

The event of karbala the capture of the household and children of Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam, being taken as prisoners from town to town and the speeches made by the draughts of Hazrat Ali. Hazrat Zinab and fourth Imam who were among the prisoner disgraced the Umayyads. Such abuse of the household of the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam annulled the propaganda which muawiyah had carried out for years. And this event also was the major factor in the overthrow Umayyads rule among those who were the instrumental in the death Of Imam Hussain was able to escape revenge and punishment golden saying of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam.

The person who loves heatily and deeply with Hazrat Imam Hussain, Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Bibi Fatima and my Ahl-e Bait, he will with me in the paradise and Allah Almighty also love those persons, who loves with them.

The Holy Prophet Sallalaho Alyhe Wasalam said:

• “Hassan and Hussain are the Lords of all young lots of Jannah”.
• “He who love Hassan and Hussain, loved me, and he who makes them angry has made me angry”.
• Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain, Allah be friends those who be friend Hussain and he is the enemy of those who bear enmity to him”.

“He gave his head but did not put his hand into the hands of yazid. Verily, Hussain is the foundation of “?”. Hussain is lord and the lord of lords. Hussain himself is Islam and the shield of Islam. Though he gave his head (for Islam) but never pledged yazid. Truly Hussain is the founder of “there is no Deity except Allah”. The Imam Hussain by his sacrifice had revitalized the true Islamic spirit. Hazrat Zahnib and Imam Zain-ul Abiddin carried the task of explaining the true Islamic teachings and the Sunnah to the Muslims in the years that followed Karbala.
